New Head Coach
We are delighted to announce that as of 2nd September James Craven will be taking over as Head Coach of Denmead Tennis Club. Many of you will know James already as he has been at the club since 2005. He is currently a Level 2 coach and is hoping to shortly do his Level 3 course.
JG Tennis (who have been running the coaching for the last 22 months) will still be administering the programme but James will be heading the on-court activities and will be the first point of contact for enquiries. He will also be taking over all groups (apart from the Sunday groups and cardio tennis.

Court Booking
Our booking system allows members and non members to to book courts on an ad hoc basis with floodlight use without requiring access to the clubhouse. The system gives everyone their own unique code and only allow access when you’ve booked a court. In addition, the system links in with the floodlights which means floodlights will automatically come on 10 minutes ahead of a booking. This allows players without a key to the clubhouse to book during floodlit hours which has not been possible before. The cost of the gate installation is being fully funded by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). A list of FAQs can be seen here

Denmead is a thriving tennis club which offers a comprehensive range of social and competitive tennis for players of all ages and abilities. There are 3 floodlit courts and the club also has a professional coach. New members are always welcome.

We have a range of scheduled sessions catering for all ages and abilities. Our Adult programme consists of 2 club nights on Monday and Friday, 2 club afternoons on Monday and Wednesday and coaching.
The Junior programme is open to members and non members and all sessions are run by one of our team of qualified coaches.

We have a range of Mens, Ladies and Mixed doubles Teams that compete throughout the year in various leagues. We also have Junior teams that compete in The Hampshire team tennis leagues.
