Doubles Ladder
In August 2020, we introduced a NEW doubles ladder to give our members more competitive opportunities and the chance to play new people at the club. There is no set start/end date for each round so the ladder gives you more time to schedule matches and work your way to the top!
How to sign up
If you'd like to get involved, please simply email James Craven who coordinates the doubles ladder. If you don't have a partner then please just let James know and he will do his best to find you one. James can be contacted on james_craven14@msn.com.

Doubles Ladder Rules
- Once the deadline has passed we will put the pairs into an a ladder based on the combined rating of the team. (if there is 2 or more teams that are the same, then we will rank them randomly).
- You will then be able to challenge any pair within 2 places above you. So if you are placed 4th you will be able to challenge either the 3rd or 2nd place teams.
- To Help arrange matches we will put everyone onto a group whatsapp chat, however all contact details of your opponents will be available here on the sign up tab.
- To enter a result please go to the Doubles tab on this sheet, select your team and your opponents from the right and then enter the score.
- If the higher ranked team wins then the rankings will stay the same, but if the lower ranked team wins they will move ahead of the team they have just beaten. (So if the 4th placed team beat the 2nd placed team they will move to 2nd and 2nd and 3rd will move down a place).
- New teams are welcome to join anytime but any that join after the original deadline will be placed bottom of the ladder. Similarly if people want to change partners, this is allowed but they will then be considered as new teams.
- We will continue this as long as people continue to play, or there is sufficient interest in a complete reset with changed partners
