Club Overview
The club was established in 1964 with a small membership. In 2003 the club took the momentous decision to retain a qualified coach; since then the club has built a thriving and successful Junior section, through which many parents are now joining and enjoying their own tennis. There are three floodlit courts allowing play to continue all through the winter months.
The club has links with local Primary and Secondary schools through the activities of its coaching team. The club welcomes new members of all ages and abilities - for details of activities please click the appropriate button. Please click here to find us. |
There are 2 regular adult sessions on Mondays and Fridays as well as 2 afternoon sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. There is also an adult coaching session every Sunday and Thursday.
The also club runs a comprehensive junior programme every Saturday for players of all ages and abilities. These are provided on a 'drop-in' basis whereby anyone (member or non-member) can just turn up and play.
The club also competes in various local adult and junior leagues and a good social calendar. Denmead is Clubmark
